How To Install And Maintain Welding Machine?

The welder must be properly grounded before use to protect personal safety. Before using the welding machine, 500V megohmmeter must be used to test the insulation resistance between the high voltage side of the welding machine and the case is not less than 2.5 MΩ. The power supply must be turned off for maintenance before it can be checked out of the box. After the welder passes the water, it is welded and it is forbidden to work without water. The cooling water should be guaranteed to supply industrial water at 5-30°C under a water inlet pressure of 0.15--0.2MPa. After the winter welding machine is working, apply compressed air to blow the water in the pipeline to avoid freezing the water pipe.

The welder lead should not be too long and the voltage drop during welding must not exceed 5% of the initial voltage. The initial voltage must not deviate from ±10% of the power supply voltage. Wear gloves, apron and protective glasses when welding the machine to prevent Mars from flying out of the scald. The sliding part should be well lubricated and metal splashes should be removed after use. After the new welder is used for 24 hours, all parts shall be fastened with screws. It must be noted that the connecting screws between the copper soft link and the electrodes must be fastened, and the oxidation between the electrode rod and the electrode arm should be frequently removed after use. Things to ensure good contact.

When the welding machine is used, if AC contactor is found to be improper, it indicates that the voltage of the power grid is too low. The user should first solve the power supply problem and use it after the power supply is normal. It should be pointed out that if a newly purchased welding machine has a main part quality problem within half a month, a new welding machine can be replaced or the main part can be replaced. The welding machine host has a one-year warranty and long-term maintenance services. Under normal circumstances, the user informs the factory, according to the distance of nearly three to seven days service. Welding machine damage due to user reasons is not covered by the warranty. Consumables and consumables are not covered by the warranty.

Since the contact area of the electrode determines the current density, the electrical resistivity and the thermal conductivity of the electrode material are related to the generation and dissipation of heat. Therefore, the shape and material of the electrode have a significant influence on the formation of the nugget. As the tip of the electrode deforms and wears, the contact area increases and the strength of the solder joint decreases. Oxides, dirt, oil, and other impurities on the workpiece surface increase the contact resistance. An excessively thick oxide layer may not allow current to pass. Local conduction, due to excessive current density, can cause splashes and surface burns. The presence of an oxide layer also affects the non-uniformity of the heating of the individual solder joints, causing welding quality fluctuations. Therefore, thoroughly cleaning the surface of the workpiece is a necessary condition for ensuring good joints.
